Weekend in Sarajevo - a city with special energy

Sarajevo… it is a long, untold story that gets its sequel every day… The oldest traces, from the Neolithic period and the Butmir culture, indicate that this area had a rich and turbulent past... The Illyrians, the Roman Empire, and later in the Middle Ages Hungary, the Serbian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and many others had a great influence on Sarajevo and its surroundings. Precisely because of that, today's Sarajevo can boast of a rich cultural heritage, turbulent history, diverse cuisine, different architectural styles, and most importantly - the inhabitants of different religions and nationalities... It can be said that Sarajevo is a "small EU" since ever, and it was really specific union long time before the formation of the EU.
Sarajevo is surrounded by high mountains - Jahorina, Bjelašnica, Igman, Trebević and Treskavica - which, among all other things, were an excellent recommendation to host the 14th Winter Olympic Games in 1984.
If you want to feel the special energy that Sarajevo radiates, we will be happy to organize a trip and tour of the city, which is only 75 km away from Foča and rafting camps.
